What are you going to do?
As an Air Duct Fitter, you will work on the installation of ventilation and air duct systems in industrial environments and shipyards. Your work includes installing spiral (spiro), rectangular, and flexible air duct systems according to technical drawings and applicable safety regulations.
You will operate in industrial and safety-driven environments and work according to site and shipyard procedures.
Your main tasks include:
- Installing and assembling air duct and ventilation systems on industrial sites and ships
- Working with spiral (spiro), rectangular, and flexible air duct systems in various sizes
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting air ducts and related components accurately
- Installing ventilation outlets, grilles, dampers, and air distribution elements
- Connecting and mounting air duct sections according to technical drawings
- Sealing air duct systems and applying basic insulation where required
- Working according to site and shipyard safety regulations
What can you expect from us?
Employment conditions
- Gross hourly wage between €15.00 – €19.00, depending on experience
- This results in a net salary between €500 – €650 per week, based on a 40-hour working week
- Possibility to work overtime
- Weekly salary payments
- Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation

- 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly together with your salary)
- 8% holiday allowance, paid once per year in May

What do we expect from you?
- Experience as an air duct fitter in shipyards or industrial environments
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Communicative English (B1 level or higher)
- Driving licence category B
- Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one (can be arranged by Maintec)
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team
