What are you going to do?
As an Aluminium Welder, you will be responsible for welding, fitting, and assembling aluminium constructions based on technical drawings. Depending on the assignment, you may work in shipyards, utility installations, or industrial settings in and around Alblasserdam.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing TIG welding of aluminium structures (MIG experience is an advantage)
- Aligning, fitting, and assembling aluminium components prior to welding
- Carrying out tack welds and finishing welds
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Inspecting welds and constructions for quality and precision
- Following safety procedures and quality standards at all times
What can you expect from us?
Employment conditions:
- Gross hourly wage between €15.50 – €19.00, depending on experience
- This results in a net salary between €550 – €650 per week, based on a 40-hour working week
- Possibility to work overtime (extra pay)
- Weekly salary payments
- Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation

- 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly together with your salary)
- 8% holiday allowance, paid once per year in May

- Housing arranged as close as possible to the workplace around Alblasserdam

- Full assistance with BSN registration and bank account setup, if needed

What do we expect from you?
- Around 3 years of experience as an aluminium welder
- Proven experience with TIG welding of aluminium (MIG is an advantage)
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Driving licence category B
- Communicative English (B1/B2 level)
- Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one (can be arranged by Maintec)
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team
