What are you going to do?
As a Machine Operator in a glass manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machines that produce high-quality glass packaging products. You work in a 5-shift rotating system, together with a team of operators and technicians, ensuring safe and efficient production.
Your main tasks include:
- Operating and monitoring glass production machines
- Performing basic mechanical inspections and adjustments
- Identifying malfunctions and assisting with troubleshooting
- Monitoring product quality and reporting deviations
- Following safety procedures and production instructions
- Working closely with colleagues in a structured team environment
What does a 5-shift system mean?
You work in rotating day, evening, and night shifts. This system allows continuous production while offering more free time between shift cycles- (6 working days / 4 off) . The average working time is 33.6 hours per week.
What can you expect from us?
Employment conditions:
- Net salary approximately €500 – €550 per week, based on a 33.6-hour working week
- Shift work- in a 5-shift rotating system
- Weekly salary payments
- Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation
Vacation & benefits:
- 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly together with your salary)
- 8% holiday allowance, paid once per year in May

Housing, transport & practical support:
- Certified accommodation arranged by Maintec – private single room
- Housing arranged as close as possible to the workplace
- Transport to and from work arranged by Maintec (company car)

- Full assistance with BSN registration and bank account setup, if needed

What do we expect from you?
- Technical education (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering)
- Technical insight; experience as a mechanical operator or background in automotive or agricultural technology is an advantage
- Good communicative English
- Driving licence category B
- Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one (can be arranged by Maintec)
- Proactive, inquisitive attitude
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility
