What are you going to do?
As a MIG/MAG Welder in shipyards, you will work on the construction of steel structures and piping systems for new-build luxury yachts and refitting projects. You work independently based on technical drawings and follow strict quality and safety standards.
Your main tasks:
- Independently welding steel constructions and piping systems using MIG/MAG
- Working in various welding positions according to project requirements
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
- Preparing materials and weld joints before welding
- Performing visual checks on welds and correcting imperfections when needed
- Working safely according to shipyard regulations
What can you expect from us?
Employment conditions:
- Gross hourly wage between €15.00 – €19.00, depending on experience
- This results in a net salary between €500 – €650 per week, based on a 40-hour working week
- Possibility to work overtime (extra pay)
- Weekly salary payments
- Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation
Vacation & benefits:
- 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly together with your salary)
- 8% holiday allowance, paid once per year in May

- Certified accommodation arranged by Maintec – private single room
- Housing arranged as close as possible to the workplace

- Full assistance with BSN registration and bank account setup, if needed

What do we expect from you?
- Experience as a MIG/MAG welder
- Valid welding authorization 135 / 136 / 138 according to ISO standards
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Driving licence category B
- Communicative English (B1/B2 level)
- Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one (can be arranged by Maintec)
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team
