What are you going to do?

Repair Technician – High-Tech Packaging and Components


As a Repair Technician at HQ Group, you’ll be part of a skilled team of 9 colleagues working to restore and maintain high-tech packaging and components. Initially, you’ll work in a day shift (07:30–16:30). Within approximately three weeks, this will transition into a rotating two-shift system:

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 06:00–15:00

Week 2: Monday to Friday, 15:00–24:00

Availability on Saturdays is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting and repairing various types of damage to packaging and high-tech components
  • Replacing damaged or worn high-tech parts
  • Completing associated administrative tasks accurately
  • Proposing improvements for mechanical functionality and cosmetic appearance
  • Ensuring efficient use of materials while following repair instructions and checklists
  • Operating equipment such as EPTs, stackers, and forklifts
  • Working with a range of hand and power tools
  • Complying with all safety, environmental, and cleanliness protocols


As a Repair Technician, you’ll handle more complex and technical repairs, ensuring that returned products are restored to meet the highest standards.

What can you expect from us?

Employment terms:

  • Gross salary €15.18 per hour;
  • Resulting in a salary approximately between €525 and €600 netto per week based on a 40 hour working-week;
  • A contract based on 40-hours with long-term intentions
  • Possibility for working extra hours for extra income;
  • Salary payments in accordance with Dutch laws and regulations.
  • Building up your pension from the first day of work;
  • You accumulate 20 vacation days with a full year of full-time work;
  • 8,33% holiday allowance per year - paid in May.
  • Health insurance

Housing & transport

  • Clean, safe and certified housing is arranged for you via Maintec;
  • In our housing you have privacy with your own private room and personal space;
  • Close to work and basic necessities (shops, public transport);
  • Transport to- and from work is arranged by Maintec;

What do we expect from you?

  • Approximately 3+ years of work-experience in a technical environment;
  • Able to communicate in English B1/B2 level;
  • Able to read/understand technical drawings! (MUST HAVE)
  • Driving license (car) is preferred;
  • Preferably a valid certificate EPT, Stacker (Stapelaar) and fork lift;
