Repair Technician

Do you have solid hands-on technical experience and enjoy practical repair work? We are continuously looking for Repair Technicians to join a well-established international company in Eindhoven that specialises in high-tech packaging solutions and equipment servicing. In this role, you will inspect, repair, and refurbish packaging components and related equipment based on technical instructions and work orders.

What are you going to do?

As a Repair Technician, you will work with packaging systems designed to protect sensitive industrial products during transport and storage. You will inspect returned components, perform repairs, replace parts as needed, and ensure all work meets the company’s quality standards.

Main responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain returned high-tech packaging according to strict quality standards
  • Work with complex mechanical components, including sensors, springs, and other technical parts
  • Perform mechanical repairs and replace damaged or worn parts with precision
  • Read and correctly interpret technical drawings and work instructions
  • Complete repair, quality control, and administrative documentation accurately in computer systems
  • Perform basic woodworking tasks on wooden casings (filing, part replacement, touch-up painting)
  • Operate hand and power tools, forklifts, and lifting platforms safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area

What can you expect from us?

Employment conditions:

  • Gross hourly wage  €15.49 gross per hour, plus an 18% shift allowance.
  • Net salary between €500 and €550 net per week, based on a 40 hour working week
  • Weekly salary payments
  • Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation

Vacation & benefits:

  • 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly with your salary)
  • 8% holiday allowance, paid once per year in May
  • Pension scheme from your first working day

Housing, transport & practical support:

  • Certified accommodation arranged by Maintec – private single room
  • Housing arranged as close as possible to the workplace
  • Transport to and from work arranged by Maintec (company car)
  • Healthcare insurance arranged by us (weekly contribution)
  • Full assistance with BSN registration and bank account setup, if needed

What do we expect from you?

  • Around 3 years of hands-on experience in technical repair, mechanical work, automotive, or assembly industry roles
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings and instructions
  • Basic computer skills for logging work and documentation
  • Serious, responsible, and motivated with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Willingness to work full-time (40 hrs) and, if needed, overtime
  • Willingness to perform basic woodworking tasks
  • Communicative English (B1/B2 level)
  • Driving licence category B is an advantage
  • EU citizenship
