Repair Technician

Eindhoven Various Vocational 550 - 600 Medior (3 - 5 years of work experience)

As a Repair Technician, you will join a qualified team working in two shifts. The role is essentially practical and focused on technical repair tasks, with some additional responsibilities in terms of basic computer and administrative skills. Your main mission will be to repair and maintain high-tech packaging and components, ensuring that all products meet high standards of quality, safety, and performance.

What are you going to do?

Main responsibilities:

  • Identify and repair technical and cosmetic problems in high-tech components;
  • Replace complex parts with high accuracy and precision;
  • Work based on technical drawings, reading and interpreting specifications correctly;
  • Fill out repair and quality control documentation correctly and completely;
  • Perform basic administrative tasks and record data in computer systems;
  • Proactively suggest improvements to increase the functionality and appearance of products;
  • Strictly follow detailed work instructions;
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, lifting platforms, and hand tools safely, accurately, and efficiently;
  • Actively collaborate with the team to ensure an effective workflow.

What can you expect from us?

Employment conditions:

  • Gross hourly wage  €15.49 gross per hour, plus an 18% shift allowance.
  • Net salary between €500 and €600 net per week, based on a 40 hour working week
  • Weekly salary payments
  • Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation

Vacation & benefits:

  • 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly with your salary)
  • 8% holiday allowance, paid once per year in May
  • Pension scheme from your first working day

Housing, transport & practical support:

  • Certified accommodation arranged by Maintec – private single room
  • Housing arranged as close as possible to the workplace
  • Transport to and from work arranged by Maintec (company car)
  • Healthcare insurance arranged by us (weekly contribution)
  • Full assistance with BSN registration and bank account setup, if needed

What do we expect from you?

  • Approximately 3 or more years of professional experience in a technical environment;
  • VMBO/MBO level education;
  • Mandatory ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
  • Good technical understanding;
  • Predominantly practical experience in technical repair tasks;
  • Basic computer and administrative skills;
  • English level B1/B2 (minimum B1);
  • Precise, detail-oriented, and collaborative profile;
  • Team spirit, proactivity, and autonomy;
  • Driver's license (car) is preferred.
