What are you going to do?
The certified welder will be responsible for welding pipe penetrations installed by the steelworker directly onboard.
- You weld pipe penetrations on-site (onboard the vessel), as installed by the steelworker
- You use welding processes such as TIG or MIG/MAG, depending on project planning
- You work according to shipyard safety and quality standards
- You collaborate with other trades and follow technical drawings and specifications
What can you expect from us?
- Weekly salary between €600 and €650 net, based on a 40 hour work week;
- A contract based on 40-hours with long-term intentions
- Salary payments in accordance with Dutch laws and regulations.
- Building up your pension from the first day of work;
- You accumulate 20 vacation days with a full year of full-time work;
- 8,33% holiday allowance per year - paid in May.

- Clean, safe and certified housing is arranged for you via Maintec;
- In our housing you have privacy with your own private room and personal space;
- Close to work and basic necessities (shops, public transport);
- Transport to- and from work is arranged by Maintec;

- Approximately 3+ years of work-experience in the field of welding
- a valid TIG welding certificate
- B category driving license
- Able to communicate in English B1/B2 level;
- You have VCA ( you can also obtain it via Maintec)
