What are you going to do?

The certified welder will be responsible for welding pipe penetrations installed by the steelworker directly onboard the vessel. Your tasks include:

Welding pipe penetrations on-site (onboard the vessel), as prepared by the steelworker
Using TIG or MIG/MAG welding processes depending on project requirements
Working in accordance with shipyard safety and quality standards
Collaborating with other trades and following technical drawings and specifications

What can you expect from us?

Weekly salary: €600–€650 net, based on a 40-hour work week
Contract: Dutch employment contract for 40 hours per week, with long-term intentions
Salary payments: Fully compliant with Dutch laws and regulations
Pension: Start building your pension from your first working day
Paid vacation: 20 vacation days per year for full-time employment
Holiday allowance: 8.33% of your annual salary, paid in May

What do we expect from you?

Approximately 3+ years of welding experience
A valid TIG welding certificate
Category B driving licence
English communication skills at B1/B2 level
VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain it via Maintec)
