What are you going to do?
As a TIG Welder in shipyards, you will be responsible for high-precision TIG welding work on steel and stainless-steel constructions and piping components on board luxury yachts. You work based on technical drawings and follow strict shipyard safety and quality standards.
Your main tasks include:
- Performing TIG welding on steel and stainless-steel constructions and piping components
- Welding pipe penetrations and fittings installed by ironworkers on board the vessel
- Preparing welds (cleaning, positioning, tacking) before final welding
- Welding in various positions according to technical requirements
- Reading and working accurately from technical drawings and work instructions
- Inspecting welds for quality, strength, and finish
What can you expect from us?
Employment conditions:
- Gross hourly wage between €15.50 – €19.00, depending on experience
- This results in a net salary between €550 – €650 per week, based on a 40-hour working week
- Possibility to work overtime
- Weekly salary payments
- Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation

- 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly together with your salary)
- 8% holiday allowance, paid once per year in May

What do we expect from you?
- Around 3 years of experience as a TIG Welder, preferably in shipyards
- Experience welding steel and stainless steel
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Welding authorization 141 according to ISO standards
- Driving licence category B
- Communicative English (B1/B2 level)
- Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one (can be arranged by Maintec)
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team
