What are you going to do?

As a Workshop Carpenter – Modular Construction, you will work in a modern production hall where modular housing units are assembled. Together with a professional team, you contribute to the construction of walls, floors, roofs, and complete modular units. All work takes place in a controlled indoor environment, based on technical drawings and standardized work processes.

Your main tasks include:

  • Assembling wooden wall, floor, and roof elements for modular houses
  • Reading and working from technical drawings and work instructions
  • Installing frames, panels, and prefabricated components
  • Using hand tools and professional woodworking equipment
  • Checking dimensions, quality, and finishing of constructed elements
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment

What can you expect from us?

Employment conditions:

  • Gross hourly wage between €14.71 – €16.00, depending on experience
  • Net salary approximately €450 – €600 per week, based on a 37.5-hour working week
  • Weekly salary payments
  • Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation

Vacation & benefits:

  • 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly with your salary)
  • 8% holiday allowance, paid once per year in May
  • Pension scheme from your first working day
  • Tools, work clothing, and full personal protective equipment (PPE) provided

Housing, transport & practical support:

  • Certified accommodation arranged by Maintec – private single room
  • Housing arranged as close as possible to the workplace
  • Transport to and from work arranged by Maintec (company car)
  • Healthcare insurance arranged by us (weekly contribution)
  • Full assistance with BSN registration and bank account setup, if needed

What do we expect from you?

  • Experience as a carpenter or construction worker (workshop or prefabrication experience is an advantage)
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Affinity with modular construction and prefabricated building systems
  • Communicative English (B1/B2 level)
  • Driving licence category B
  • Motivated, reliable, and quality-focused
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
